STONE HARBOR – The 54th Annual Stone Harbor Art & Crafts Festival will be held Saturday, August 6th from 9:00am – 5:00pm and Sunday, August 7th from 9:00am – 4:00pm. Over 200 artisans from more than 12 states will be displaying their hand-crafted work. The Festival is nationally ranked as Sunshine Artist “200 BEST of 2015.” Now in our 54th year, Stone Harbor proves to deliver exceptional quality of experience in an unparalleled setting. Our goal is to offer each artist and each visitor a unique experience, showcasing the highest quality and diversity of artistry with an unmatched, beautiful seashore backdrop. The Festival will take place on the Recreation Fields at 80th Street directly across from the beach in Stone Harbor, New Jersey.
Stone Harbor is also proud to welcome some of our finest local vendors of our award winning businesses from the Stone Harbor Farmer’s Market in The Festival as well. The weekly Farmer’s Market is held every Sunday 8:00am – 12:30pm at the Water Tower Plaza on 95th St and Second Avenue. In addition to the 200+ artisans, there is a food court, live music, and kids activities such as Artist on the Rocks instructing children and adults how to paint on canvas with acrylics; John Gruber returns to Stone Harbor to offer sand castle building workshops to children of all ages; The Crafty Chef Academy will teach children how to create art with food!
Admission is free to the Festival and visitors are encouraged to take advantage of our complimentary shuttle service 8:30am – 5:30pm on Saturday / 8:30am – 4:30pm on Sunday. There are now eight designated pick-up/drop-off locations will be at the following locations: – 60th Street & Dune Drive (Avalon) – 80th Street & 1st Ave (Festival Site) – 81st Street & Bay (Municipal Marina) – 94th Street & 2nd Ave (Municipal Lot) – 95th Street & 2nd Ave (Borough Hall) – 96th Street & 1st Ave (Basketball Court) – 98th Street & 2nd Ave (Lark Motel) – 123rd Street and 2nd Ave (Point parking lot) Volunteers are extremely important to the success of Stone Harbor’s Arts & Crafts Festival. Please help our exhibitor’s setup or breakdown. Compensation will be up to the volunteer and exhibitor. Setup times where volunteers are most helpful are during the following times; Friday, August 5th – 7:45am, 10:45am, 1:45pm, and 4:45pm / Saturday, August 6th 5:45am-7:30am / Sunday (breakdown) 3:45pm-6:00pm.
