Atlantic City Electric’s Smart Energy Network construction is now underway across South Jersey. All existing traditional meters will be upgraded with smart meters that can securely communicate with Atlantic City Electric’s central operations facility. Additionally, the local energy grid is being upgraded to create smart energy infrastructure that can automatically respond and send alerts of potential issues. These upgrades will provide enhanced reliability of energy service and improve the overall customer experience, along with providing new tools and programs to help customers save money and energy.
