|Thanks to the funding granted by the Cape May County Freeholders and Open Space Board, upgrades to Chelsea Place Park (park located between Second and Third Ave; 105th & 106th Streets) will begin Monday, December 7, 2015. For your safety, the park will be off-limits for the duration of construction; estimated 100 days. Improvements include new playground equipment, new rubber safety surfacing, three adult fitness station areas, walking path, and shelter. The existing sand volleyball courts, bocce court, chest boards, and trees will be preserved. The park is scheduled to re-open in Spring 2016. Stay tuned for future announcements!|
The Borough of Stone Harbor is now offering their highly anticipated holiday beach tags. The beach tags will be on sale at the Stone Harbor Borough Hall beginning Monday, November 23, 2015 at 8:30am. The 2015 holiday beach tags may be purchased at Borough Hall: 9508 Second Avenue in Stone Harbor, Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:00pm for $22.00 per tag, while supplies last. Beach tags may be purchased via check or cash only; no mail orders will be accepted.
Holiday beach tags will also be available at Stone Harbor Chamber of Commerce Welcome Center, and at select merchants throughout Stone Harbor, from 11am-3pm; every Saturday & Sunday until December 20th.
The holiday beach tags will be honored by all beach tag inspectors throughout the entire summer of 2016. The tags do not need to be exchanged for the traditional summer beach tag. The tags are available on a first come, first served basis.

Route begins on 111th St. travels along 3rd Ave; Turns onto 96th St. and ends at 95th St Beach Lot. Enter the Parade!
The heavily-anticipated Holiday Beach Tags are in Santas workshop now and will be available beginning November 27th & 28th 10am-2pm at the Water Works building (213 96th St.) They make great stocking-stuffers! $22 pre-season

STONE HARBOR, NJ — The Tuesdays at the Tower: Hawkins Road concert POSTPONED until Wednesday, August 12th due to threat of thunderstorms. The Borough of Stone Harbor and Stone Harbor Chamber of Commerce invites the public to attend this free 90 minute concert that begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Water Tower Plaza, on 95th Street & Second Ave in Stone Harbor, New Jersey.
This Wednesday’s concert will feature one of the region’s most popular country and country-rock dance bands, Hawkins Road. Performing country-rock classics and popular dance hits, including classics by Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Allman Brothers Band and other Southern Rock classics. Hawkins Road is comprised of drummer Jimmy Glenn, bassist Rich Kurtz, acoustic guitarist Brian Conover, and the searing lead guitars of Danny Eyer and Ernie Trionfo. Local band Hawkins Road has been playing country, rock, reggae and blues in the South Jersey area for over 20 years.
The band expresses their excitement, “This is sure to be a great night. We’re looking forward to seeing old friends and making lots of new ones.” There will be a Beer and Wine Garden available by 6:30pm and a snack stand, courtesy of the Stone Harbor Museum, will compliment. Join us as we rock out to the rhythmic and rockin’ sounds of Hawkins Road. Bring your own lawn chairs or blankets and come kick up your feet and enjoy your night under the stars!
