The construction of the New Solid Waste Convenience Center is underway! Your diligent Public Works team has been tirelessly excavating and laying the concrete foundation for the new center, following all necessary permit procedures.
We are pleased to announce that we are on track for the scheduled May 15th opening of the year-round facility, which will enable residents to dispose of their solid waste (including Trash and Recycling) from 7 am to 3:30 pm, seven days a week in-season, and five days a week during the off-season with the same daily hours.
As we move forward, we anticipate erecting walls and a roof shortly. For more updates on the development of this new addition to our services, please check back here regularly.
