NEW JERSEY HALL OF FAME MOBILE MUSEUM TO MAKE SPECIAL VISIT IN STONE HARBOR AS A PART OF THE “ISLAND HOLIDAY” CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 29, 2014

STONE HARBOR, NJ – The New Jersey Hall of Fame Mobile Museum will take part in the annual “Island Holiday Christmas Celebration” this weekend, Saturday, November 29.

The New Jersey Hall of Fame Mobile Museum will share the spotlight with some of the exciting Christmas festivities in Stone Harbor, which includes a scavenger hunt for all ages, iceless ice skating, train rides, Pet parade, tree lighting ceremony, Merchants’ Hospitality Night, Breakfast with Frosty, photos with Santa and the Stone Harbor Christmas Parade.

“We’re absolutely thrilled that the mobile museum will complement the strong traditions of Christmas in Stone Harbor,” said Steve Edwards, president of the New Jersey Hall of Fame Foundation Board.   “It’s a great opportunity for the kids to learn about the famous New Jerseyans who contributed to our society while celebrating the holiday season.”

 

Every year, the New Jersey Hall of Fame welcomes thousands of visitors in communities across the Garden State. Through the power of images, artifacts, film and a suite of interactive tools, New Jersey’s leaders and legends are made accessible to every curious imagination.

The Mobile Museum was designed by Hall of Fame inductee, celebrated architect and designer, Michael Graves, and Ralph Appelbaum Associates, renowned planner and designer of museum exhibitions. The 53-foot double-expandable trailer is transformed on location to 850 square feet of stunning exhibition space.
