Road Closure ~ Second Avenue

The intersection of 82nd Street and Second Avenue will be closed beginning Wednesday November 11, 2015

The work will include installation of the proposed storm drain through the intersection and then along the northbound lane of Second Ave.  As the dewatering system piping is laid on the surface traffic will be restricted in the southbound land as well.

This phase of the work includes extending  the storm drain along Second Ave. to where it will turn right at 81^st  Street into the recreation park and then be extended to First Ave.

It is anticipated the intersection and Second Avenue, between 82^nd and 81^st  Streets, will be open prior to Thanksgiving Day.
