On March 14th the Borough of Stone Harbor held their annual Flood Insurance Community Meeting at Borough Hall. Ray Poudrier, Stone Harbor Construction Official and CRS Coordinator reviewed the Community Rating System and the Borough’s role within the program. Following the CRS presentation, Sam Wierman, Jr of Ide Insurance Agency, and Tom Heist, of Heist Insurance Agency explained FEMA’s new pricing methodology, Risk Rating 2, and how these changes can affect your flood insurance premiums.
