Stone Harbor, NJ –  After careful consideration, and in accordance with the latest resolution passed by the Cape May County Board of Chosen Freeholders, the Borough of Stone Harbor will allow for the commencement of short rentals, effective immediately.

Yesterday the Freeholders took the steps to allow local municipalities to decide their own date to commence short term rentals and the Borough of Stone Harbor has taken the opportunity to react accordingly. Short term rentals, of under 30 days, including hotels and motels, may commence immediately. Hotels may operate at up to 60% capacity until June 21st. Hotels may begin operating at up to 100% capacity beginning June 22nd.

Short term rentals are an integral part of our local economy and getting this started immediately is a step in the right direction for the hospitality industry, and our economy as a whole.
