Until further notice the Borough of Stone Harbor Public Works shall not collect E-Waste until NJDEP and the NJ Legislation amend the E-Waste Law.
Stone Harbor Public Works and the Cape May County MUA Transfer Station in Middle Township will not accept any of the following E-Waste:
VCR’s, DVD Player, Sound Systems, Radios, Cell Phones, Fax Machines, Document Scanners or TV’s.
If residents and businesses must dispose of this material you may take it to the CMCMUA Landfill complex in Woodbine, NJ.
**UPDATE: THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS WILL ACCEPT E-WASTE ON BULK TRASH COLLECTION DATES ESTABLISHED BY THE BOROUGH. MARCH 13TH, MAY 15TH, SEPTEMBER 18TH & OCTOBER 10TH.
