Raymond Parzych Selected to Fill the Vacancy on

Stone Harbor Borough Council

Mr. Parzych is filling an unexpired council seat made vacant upon the swearing in of Mayor Judy Davies- Dunhour.

Mr. Parzych was sworn in at the January 17th, 2017 Council meeting and promises to bring to council a level headed approach to governance, a degree of fiscal responsibility, and the ability to focus and promote decisions founded on facts as opposed to personal passion.

Mayor Judy Davies-Dunhour stated “I, along with all members of Council, look forward to working with Mr. Parzych.  His even temperament and no nonsense, common sense approach to problem solving will be an asset to all of Stone Harbor.”

Mr. Parzych has been a full time resident of the Borough of Stone Harbor since 1994 and has been an active member within community organizations. His education and work experience will be a valued addition to Borough Council and an asset to the community in which he will serve.

Mr. Parzych will chair the Public Safety Committee and be a member of the Public Works and Natural Resource Committee.
