Phase III Outfall Pipe Project ~ Update
The Borough of Stone Harbor continues to move forward with the removal of outfall pipes along our beachfront.
The Contractor has completed installation of the storm drain through the 82nd Street Recreation fields (Second Ave. to First Ave.) and will be regrading the area and installing topsoil the week of 12/14/2015. A temporary seed mix will be placed on the field and in the spring the contractor will return to reseed with a permanent seed mix. The Contractor has begun installation of the storm pipe on First Ave, between the 81st Street ROW to 82nd Street.
Access to Second Ave will be fully open to traffic prior to Christmas.
