The Borough of Stone Harbor has contracted with Asphalt Paving Systems, Inc. of Hammonton, New Jersey, to complete various sewer, water and roadway improvements for the streets in the Borough.
Remington, Vernick & Walberg Engineers, the Borough’s municipal engineer, will provide construction monitoring services for the Borough on this project. Asphalt Paving Systems, Inc., anticipates beginning work the week of September 21, 2015. During the course of the working day, water service and/or sewer service may need to be shut off in order to perform the work. The services will be restored at the end of each workday. We are requesting that you refrain from parking on these streets when the work is occurring in your block.
We understand that this work may be an inconvenience; however, it is necessary in order for the Borough to provide the best services possible to its residents and thank you in advance for your cooperation. Upon final paving of the roadway, there will be a five (5) year moratorium for street openings within this project limit. Therefore, if you require any additional water or sanitary sewer connections, please contact the Borough of Stone Harbor Public Works Department at (609)-368-7311. Additionally, if you require any cable, electric and gas services, please contact those respective utility companies immediately.
