Notice of Great Channel Bridge along CR 619 – temporary traffic signal
Beginning on Tuesday March 19th, underdeck steel repairs will continue as the final phase of construction on the Great Channel Bridge that connects Middle Township to Stone Harbor. In order to safely accommodate this activity, one-way alternating traffic will be in place. Traffic in both directions will be maintained, however, only one-way alternating traffic will be permitted to cross the bridge. Traffic approaching each side of the bridge will be maintained by a temporary traffic signal which will allow one direction of travel to proceed at a time. Motorists are urged to use caution when approaching and crossing the bridge and to not proceed until the signal is in the green phase. Slight delays should be expected.
