Beach Closures and Beach Nourishment Update for June 30, 2023
Current street crossover closures by Great Lakes Dredge & Dock, Co. (GLDD):
- 110th to 113th streets for beach nourishment operations.
- 123rd Street parking lot for mobilization/storage of equipment and supplies (intermittent closures).
Protected Beaches are closed at:
- 90th St. – subline landing area
- 110th St. and 112th St. for beach nourishment activity
Most advanced basket discharge station: 111th Street
The Dredge, Texas, is currently down for mechanical issues on the Booster. Technician is arriving at 10:00 am to repair the booster pump generator according to GLDD. Dredging will resume when issue has been rectified.
