TICKETS/COMPLAINTS
Tickets can be paid in person 8:30AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, at the Avalon Violations Bureau, Municipal Building, 3100 Dune Drive, Avalon. Payments can also be placed in the Violations Bureau drop box inside the lobby to the Avalon Police Department, 3100 Dune Drive, Avalon.

MUNICIPAL COURT
In 2022, the court dates will be at 10:00am for Stone Harbor, and 1:00pm for Avalon, on January 10th, February 7th, March 7th, April 4th, May 2nd, May 23rd, June 6th, June 27th, July 11th, July 25th, August 8th, August 22nd, September 12th, September 26th, October 3rd, November 21st, December 5th.  Court is being held virtually until further notice.  As of January 1, 2021, all court operations are located in Avalon Municipal Building, 3100 Dune Drive, Avalon, NJ 08202.

PARKING METERS
Parking meters will be in operation from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM commencing May 1st and ending on September 30th.

PARKING METER FINES
The normal fine for a parking meter violation is $34.00 if paid prior to the original court date shown on the ticket.

PLEA OF NOT GUILITY
If you intend to plead not guilty to the offense charged, you must notify the Court Admin­is­tra­tor of your inten­tion at least 7 work­ing days prior to your sched­uled court date. If you fail to notify the Court Admin­is­tra­tor it may be nec­es­sary for you to make additional court appearances.
