TODAY’S BEACH CLOSURE UPDATE (June 28, 2023) DUE TO BEACH NOURISHMENT PROJECT:
– Beaches are closed from 109th to 112th streets while beach nourishment activity is in progress.
– Expect intermittent closures of the 123rd Street parking lot for mobilization/storage of equipment and supplies
– Most advanced basket discharge station: 109th/110th Streets
– Dredge is idle at this time….expectation is to begin dredging this afternoon. The dredge, Texas, and booster are on site.
