JULY 1st BEACH CLOSURES & BEACH NOURISHMENT UPDATE
– Beaches are closed from 110th to 113th Streets for beach nourishment operations.
– Protected beaches are closed at 110th Street and 112th Street
– 123rd Street parking lot for mobilization/storage of equipment and supplies (intermittent closures).
– Most advanced basket discharge station: 111th Street
– The Dredge, Texas, and Booster are on site.
– Subline landing in Stone Harbor at 91st Street.
– Dredge Texas is currently down for mechanical issues on the Booster. A technician is onsite and working to repair the booster pump generator. Dredging will resume when issue has been rectified.
