Project Medicine Drop Available 24/7

police

The Stone Harbor Police Department currently participates in “Project Medicine Drop” (PMD) on a year round, 24/7 basis.

The drop box is currently secured in the Police Station and anyone wishing to drop off medicine just need to pick up the phone in the police lobby and request an officer.

This project offers a safe, secure, and environmentally responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs.

More than 54 percent of people who abuse prescription pain relievers got them through friends or relatives, a statistic that includes raiding the family medicine cabinet.

Please help with our efforts to keep our community safe!
